    Admission Procedure

    We are a School of Thought!

    1. Admission opens for the academic year 2024-25
      • Playgroup
      • Nursery
      • Junior Kindergarten
      • Senior Kindergarten
      • Grade 1 to 8, 9 & 11 
    2. Parents/Guardians desirous of seeking admission of their wards may fill up the Application for Admission enclosed with the admission kit and along with it submit the following to our Admission Officer.
      • One certified true copy each of School Reports of the last three years (wherever applicable) for record purpose only. This will not affect the admission decision which will be based on the child’s performance at the competency level test.
      • One true copy of the child’s Birth Certificate duly certified by a Gazetted Officer.
      • 8 recent passport size colour photographs of the child.
      • Kindly ensure that the Application for Admission is complete in all respects, so as to facilitate the admission process.
    3. The admission to Playgroup, Nursery, Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten will be granted on the basis of the child’s age and the year(s) of prior schooling. In addition to this we will have an oral interaction with the child.
    4. The applicants seeking admission to Grades 1 to 7 will be required to appear for a Competency Level Test (CLT). The purpose of CLT will be to assess the grade for which the child is eligible rather than to grant/refuse admission.
    5. After the interaction/CLT the school will inform parents/guardians within 2 working days about the acceptance of admission through e-mail.
    6. Admission will be confirmed on receipt of fees for the first quarter i.e. April, May & June.

    Criteria for Admission

    Age Eligibility: For admission to Billabong High International School, we normally expect the child to have been born on or before the dates shown in the table given below, against the respective Grades:

    First come first served basis: Admission will be open to all strictly on first come first serve basis. If no seats are available at the time the application is received, the applicant will be placed in a wait list according to a first come first served priority. Parents/Guardians will be notified as soon as seat is available.
